Stephen Ussery
Stephen has pastored churches in Central Oklahoma since 1976. He is bivocational, meaning he has a secular job as well as serving as pastor.
His ministry has been one of restoring and reviving congregations in McClain, Cleveland, and Grady counties. He has the ability to relate to congregation in a down-to-earth manner, using Holy Scriptures to address issues without being judgmental or condescending.
He has been a resident of Blanchard since 1961, graduating from Blanchard, and rearing his family there. He and Shirl have been married since April 18, 1970. They have two daughters, Marti who is married to Larry Goodwin of Blanchard; and Jamie and her husband David Mayeux of Houston. They also have one grandchild, Joshua Mansfield Mayeux.
